Noisetar is a synthesizer dedicated to the generation of many different noise based sounds.
The generation is purely mathematical, no samples or wavetables are used, thus allowing for an easy continuous morphing from one sound to the other. Twelve parameters control the generator, moreover its output can be further shaped and enriched inside Noisetar with its two filters, a chorusing reverb and a stereo enhancer. As modulators Noisetar offers an ADSR envelope and keytracking, with seven destinations.
Using the included bandpass filter, which is tuned to the incoming MIDI notes, is also possible to play Noisetar melodically.
Noisetar is designed with DAW parameter automation in mind to tailor complex custom modulations tied to each project rather then dealing with complicated patches.
Noisetar has its own sound space, ranging from various digital noises to crackle, rattles and crepitations similar to wood fire or rain, scratchy percussions and foot stomps, with many others from the lowest booming and gurgling drones, to thin misty hisses. The quality and types of Noisetar sounds obviously doesn’t cover all possible noise sounds, but most certainly will increase your noise arsenal without taking up more than 2MB on your drive.
Any musical genre can make use of a versatile noise synth. Enjoy exploring its unique sound space.

WAVETABLE MANIPULATION.

ADVANCED MODULATION CONTROL.
Nocturna comes with a full featured Modulation section. Included are 2 LFOs with an LFO matrix allowing you to map them to a number of functions. 2 super clean Sub oscillators and a Wave Generator.

The Wave Generator inside Nocturna loads and plays 24-bit wav Files. You can use the Wave Generator to modulate other oscillators for cool effects and weird noises.
X/Y MAPPABLE ENVELOPE GENERATOR.
The Envelope Generator is an Envelope where the attack, decay, sustain, and release can be mapped to an X/Y pad and then sent to various Oscillators. This allows for some sweet synths.

Nice To Be Your Friend is the friendliest synthesizer app on iOS. There are two keyboards to play, with the top keyboard rotating around so that you can make music with a friend. What is played on one keyboard is highlighted on the other, so that you can share songs, and improvise new music.
The app is universal, and features more than one hundred sounds from a SoundFont engine. The app is polyphonic and multi-timbral. Warm pianos, electric and acoustic bass, guitars, strings, and even synthesizer tones — a huge array of instruments, all at your fingertips in one app.
With full support for both MIDI input and output, you can use NTBYF to control other iOS synthesizers, or use a sequencer to trigger sounds from the app. There’s even Audiobus support, allowing you to easily record your music, or to send the sounds through the wide range of filtering and effects apps.
The app also has an integrated Apollo MIDI over Bluetooth “A” endpoint, letting you send MIDI wirelessly between a pair of iOS devices, or between iOS and a Mac. This will require the Apollo app running on the other device — the Mac version of Apollo is free, so it’s easy to try out. Once you’ve experienced the low latency of MIDI over Bluetooth, you’ll never want to use WiFi MIDI again.
