A MIDI plugin that stores the last note played. The next note is created relative to the note played. Middle C will repeat notes. C# will move the notes up a half step. D will move them up a whole step. B next to middle C will move the next note down by a half step. Better tried out than explained.

Midi Latch:

A MIDI plugin that acts as a MIDI latch/hold. A “note on ” message is converted to a note off for any playing notes. A “note off ” message sends a note on if a note is not playing and sets it to “playing”. This allows you to quickly play a chord and it will sustain until you play a new chord. Deactiviting the plugin will kill the last chord played.

VSTWrapperBuilder is a tool designed to get rid of common issues with VST plug-ins:

Giant menu with VST Shell. Using such thing inside Nuendo or Cubase is a nightmare. Here the solution: Use VSTWrapperBuilder to extract all plugins from the shell and organize them properly on your hard drive. You can define some rules to specify where a given effect must belong to.

Old plugins require the audio buffer to be cleared by the host. With recent hosts this is not done so your famous old plugin can no longer be used. The solution is simple: generate a wrapper with VSTWrapperBuilder checking the column “Old” and that’s all. It will work. The wrapper will fill the audio buffer properly.

Some VST Hosts don’t send effSetSpeakerArrangement to surround plugins. Because of that, they acting in mono most of the time. The solution is also simple: generate a wrapper with VSTWrapperBuilder checking the column “Surround” and that’s all. The plugin will receive automatically a 5.1 configuration. Of course you have to use it on a 5.1 track.
