Vitamin C is an emulation of an Orange Squeezer guitar compressor, with added controls for tweaking. It runs in mono or stereo, and has selectable 2x oversampling. Vanilla Compressor

Vanilla Compressor is a free compressor VST plugin developed by ChunkWare. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

The Vanilla Compressor is a general-purpose, stereo compressor plugin, with optional sidechain input. It can be used on individual instruments, across aux busses, or even as a mastering effect. Its fine-tuned, “smooth as buttah” sidechain and specialized release shapes make it equally at home with vocals, drums, guitars and full mixes. Use it sparingly for subtle, transparent “tightening”; or drive it hard and fast for deep, “balls-to-the-walls” pumping.

Max Make-up: Maximizes the output gain to 0dB, such that it is proportional to the threshold and ratio parameters.

Compressor Output: -40dB to +40dB in 0.1dB increments.

Listen: Listen to the sidechain (control) signal at the output of the filter, before it is rectified/averaged.

Mix: Wet/Dry mix.

The Vanilla Compressor uses RMS power summing for stereo linking, to maintain an accurate image of stereo signals.

THIS GOES TO 127!

THIS GOES TO 127! is a free compressor VST plugin developed by BipTunia Synths. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

“THIS GOES TO 127!” is a simple VST with no controls. (The knob is for show.).

And it only does one thing, and does that thing very well: It makes all MIDI notes max velocity (127), regardless of input velocity. This makes the volume on playback max.

It’s basically a dynamics compressor for MIDI.

This is useful for heavy music, and/or for using inexpensive MIDI keyboards with poor touch.

There are other ways of doing this, but none are mas simple as using THIS GOES TO 127.

Just unzip and drop it into your VST folder.

Then in your DAW, add our VST BEFORE the VST you want to affect (important).

The played notes will still show in the piano roll as various velocities, but will record, and play back, as max velocity (translates as max volume):

Leave THIS GOES TO 127! in the track for playback and render.

You can even set it up in your track template to be on every track.

Can also be used to “loudenize” previously recorded MIDI tracks.
