Spazial

Spazial is a free audio and studio utility VST plugin developed by Synthblitz Audio. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

Spazial is a powerful audio processor VST plug-in designed to create wide stereo effects and is able to encode and divide the incoming stereo signal into M / S signals but also decode M / S signals into stereo signal.

“Spazial” uses different ways to processing the incoming signal.

There are 5 modes of using it : “internal”, “send mid”, “send side”, “spazial” and “decoder mode”.
“Spazial” allows the processing of the signals encoded by five potentiometers on the panel or sends the encoded pure signals directly to the output via the functions “enc mid” and “enc-side”. In the panel also has a very useful high-pass filter and a very special vibrato control.

“Spazial” is free donationware and available in VST format for Windows.

Quick Haas

Quick Haas is a free stereo imaging VST, Audio Unit plugin developed by Venn Audio. Compatible OS(s): Windows 64b, macOS.

Quick Haas is a free and simple psychoacoustic panning plugin, available as a Windows VST or mac Audio Unit. The ‘Haas Effect’, also known as the precedence effect, is a psychoacoustic effect where listeners can perceive the special position of an audio signal depending on very small delays between the left and right channels of the audio signal. This allows for a much more realistic panning effect than traditional panning, provided the playback device is in stereo.

This plugin couldn’t be simpler to use! If the input is stereo, just select how you want it to be routed into the pan (it is recommended only one channel, or mono, is used if the original source’s left/right channels differ), and then adjust the central knob left right so as to make the sound appear to be coming from that direction. Hint: this plugin allows for very fine adjustments of up to a tenth of a millisecond, and often only small adjustments less than 2ms is all that’s needed to create a powerful precedence effect.

This is the first in a series of oscilloscope-music inspired products and pairs perfectly with PrettyScope. Spiral Generator uses an algorithm created by Jerobeam Fenderson. There will be more advanced 2D and 3D synthesizers released in the future for serious music production and sound design:

GeoPlayer

sonicPlanet GeoPlayer app is the player version of the GeoComposer, 3D location based interactive soundscape composer.

GeoComposer

GeoComposer is a free sequencer stand alone application developed by sonicPlanet. Compatible OS(s): iOS.

sonicPlanet GeoComposer is location based soundscape composition platform in form of an iOS app. It lets the artists, museums etc. freely create location based 3D soundscapes with the 3D sonic augmented reality technology of sonicPlanet.

Sound recordings for any purpose can be placed easily as sound objects at GPS coordinates with the GeoComposer editor interface and then can be uploaded with additional piece information to sonicPlanet server space.

You can navigate/walk on a physical space augmented with the 3D soundscape which contains the virtual sound objects. The interaction of the listener (you) with his location and orientation to these sound objects renders the 3D soundscape in realtime.

GeoComposer presents full augmented reality with its interactive 3D soundscape and Google Street View visuals embedded. You can teleport yourself to the piece environment and enjoy the audible and visual venue hosting the performing piece.

Get started with Ambisonics and VR/AR audio with this free first-order Ambisonics panner/encoder that outputs YouTube compatible AmbiX (SN3D/ACN) format. Use it to encode mono or stereo tracks to first-order Ambisonics using a no-frills interface.

Note that Ambisonics requires a decoder to be listened to correctly. You will not have correct results if you listen directly to the output of this plugin.
