Proteus VX
Proteus VX is a free rompler VST plugin developed by E-MU. Compatible OS(s): Windows.
Proteus VX borrows its internal architecture from its big brother, Emulator X3. Although Proteus VX does not have the extensive editing capabilities of Emulator X3, it does offer 16 continuous controllers for each preset. The 16 controllers allow you to create subtle to radical transformations to the sounds, then save them with the bank.
The included v2.01 Proteus X Composer bank comes with over 1000 presets covering an immense range of sounds from the Proteus 2000 MIDI sound module. In addition, Proteus VX can load any sounds from the Emulator X library, as long as they can be loaded into system RAM (Sample-streaming not supported on Proteus VX).
Proteus VX is not copy protected or card locked like other versions of our instrument and sampling software, and can be used either as a VSTi or in stand-alone mode.

PropheSea is a subtractive vector hybrid synth. It differs from most traditional vector synthesizers in that its waveforms are generated in real-time through subtractive synthesis, rather than being culled from pre-rendered ROM wave selection tables. The real-time waveform generators support a huge variety of internal manipulation.
PropheSea also has multiple LFOs, Additive Harmonic Feedback support, and a global FX section for mutating and sweetening the sound. ProjectX1 is a hybrid bass synth featuring urban type bass sounds utilizing subtractive, FM and phase distortion synthesis.
ProjectX1 is essentially a monophonic synth but also has a pseudo stereo mode and features 3 oscillators, osc sync, 2 filters, LFO, 2 ADSRs, mod envelope generator, 2 waveshapers, tube amp and bit crusher effects, 2 modulation matrixes with 24 possible destinations with the option of signal inversion. The phase distortion osc has 2 wave generators each comprising of 8 waveforms, and the FM osc comes with 7 standard waveforms and also has a sync mode. There’s an add-on unison oscillator which includes 3 waveforms.
Each oscillator has fine tune and transpose functions and the synth also has a master fine tune control. There are 3 main modes of operation which are FM, phase distortion and FM+phase distortion with a mix knob to get more level from either oscillator. The first filter has Low Pass or HP operation and has an analog/digital emulator, bass boost, Q tap and clear/furry options; the 2nd filter acts more like a basic eq and is in a fixed mode of operation.
You can view your sounds/waveforms via the frequency analyser or onboard scope. In pseudo stereo mode you can control left and right levels via separate sliders in the master section in the top left of the synth; also in this section there is retrigger, velocity switch, master level and glide. The included LFO is host synced and doesn’t operate in free mode. The tube amp has adjustable clipping hardness, bias, and power supply regulation, clipping and/or crossover distortion. Most of the parameters on this synth can be automated via MIDI or your host automation.

Project Exodus is a free collection of cinematic soundscapes, analog pads, sound effects and looped cinematic sequences crafted by Bryan Lake. The library contains a set of 127 original instrument patches for electronic musicians, film score composers, game developers and sound designers.
The library is organized into three subfolders containing soundscapes, instruments and sequences. The included patches are based on a custom scripted user interface for NI Kontakt, providing hands-on control over parameters like reverb, delay, filter cutoff and distortion amount. All included sounds are royalty free.
