MSLR

MSLR is a free stereo imaging VST, VST3 plugin developed by HASound. Compatible OS(s): Windows 64b.

What is the MSLR?
The MSLR is an MS audio processor. It can works in three modes:

Encoder (converts the LR input signal to the MS output signal).

Decoder (converts the MS input signal to the LR output signal).

Inline (allows to affect on the Mid and Side components of the stereo signal without the need to convert the input LR signal to the MS signal).

How is the MSLR used?
The MSLR audio processor contains of the MS encoder and decoder, and three audio mixers. These components will be interconnect differently when you change the mode with the big white knob.

Encoder Mode (LR-MS)
Use this mode to convert the input LR signal to the output MS signal.

Decoder Mode (MS-LR)
Use this mode to convert the input MS signal to the output LR signal.

Inline Mode (LR-MS-LR)
Use this mode to affect on the Mid and Side components of the stereo signal without the need to convert the input LR signal to the MS signal.

The Mixers
Throughout the whole path of the audio signal you able to change the gain of the signal in range -24 dB to +12 dB on each audio mixer. Also you can mute or change polarity of the selected channel.

monoLOW

monoLOW is a free stereo imaging VST plugin developed by whiteLABEL. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

monoLOW is a “low band conformance machine”. monoLOW is just about the simplest tool going. The lower its frequency, the more a sound loses its directionality. It sometimes makes little sense for frequencies below a certain point to be spread across a stereo mix – a stereo bottom-end can cause a loss of focus. Enter monoLOW.

2 simple controls allow mono-izing of the low band: “frequency” below which all is mono, and a “cut / gain” control for level. Audition and defeat buttons are also present.

A free version that stops working for 5 seconds every 5 minutes is also available (the full version doesn’t do this, obviously).

Moneo

Moneo is a free stereo imaging VST plugin developed by BetabugsAudio. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

Moneo is a stereo plug-in which treats each channel as a separate monaural source. Each channel may then have its volume attenuated, its position in the stereo field panned, and its sonic character altered with a resonant low or high-pass filter if you so choose. Mon-ster

Mon-ster is a free stereo imaging VST plugin developed by Bitsonic. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

Certain DAW we can not to replace the left side of track with the right side. In this case we can work with the free Violent Mon-Ster stereo modifier:

Replace: With this function, we can replace the sound of left side with the right side. In center position the sign is mono.

Inv. L/R. We can invert the sinusoid.

Pan: Simple panorama function.

Enhancer: We can change the sense of space.

Remover: Like an MS Matrix, we can remove the middle sounds.

Midsider

Simple Mid/Side Recording

The M/S microphone technique is extremely flexible and sounds great in lots of applications, but because of the complexity of creating an M/S recording in most DAWs, it’s often incorrectly setup or avoided altogether.

M4GIQ is a 4-band stereo-imager and EQ. It enables you to pan certain frequencies and apply delay for a wider sound. It gives you 4 adjustable bands with individual Panning, Volume, Delay, and Mute Switch. It also has built-in High-Pass and Low-Pass Filters. Bands and knobs are color-coded for easy visualization.

M/Ster Balance

M/Ster Balance is a free stereo imaging VST plugin developed by Ourafilmes. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

M/Ster Balance is a plugin designed for fast results. It allows you to control the tone of the sound and the stereo field with only 4 knobs through an intelligent algorithm. It features a transparent crossover filter that divides the signal in 2 bands: low (mono) and high (stereo). You control the balance of those 2 bands. Then the signal goes to a Mid-Side processor where you control the balance of the stereo field. A final gain stage allows you to compensate differences of level so you can compare the sound before and after the plugin processing. There is even a final onboard limiter (acts at 0dB FS – prevents clipping), if you ever need it.

Based on technologies from several of other Ourafilmes VST plugins (Master, Bass Bus, M/S EQ and Speaker Blower), those big knobs allow you to have total control over the sound. Use this plugin for tonal effects, eq/filtering, reverb control, stereo field control, phase control, … It’s great for tracking, mixing and mastering.

Full automation, MIDI learn (right-click knobs), zero latency.

This is a 32-bit VST plugin.

There are no user presets so experimentation is the key to success.
