ReBirth RB-338 pioneered a new era of music instrumentation that merged the principles of “virtual reality” with historic synthesizers and drum machines.

Introduced in 1997, ReBirth is a software emulation of classic Roland devices: the TB-303 Bass Line synthesizer and the TR-808 and TR-909 Rhythm Composers.

Officially discontinued in 2005, Propellerhead Software created the ReBirth Museum where you can download the final version of ReBirth for free (as a CD-ROM image).

Reality

Reality is an emulation of the Realistic MG-1, a synth that was sold by Radio-shack but was made by the Moog company. Special attention was given to the oscillators, analog instability and overall oddness of the original.

Ragnarök is a software instrument for Microsoft Windows (VST) and macOS (VST/AU) simulating a custom-built one-of-a-kind analog synthesizer from 1980. It is written in native C++ code for high performance and low CPU consumption.

Ragnarök is the collaborative work of Hans Peter aka CrimsonWarlock aka TechnoGremlin (synth concept, GUI design, user manual, patch programming) and Björn aka Full Bucket (DSP+GUI+patch programming).
