Keppys MIDI Converter is a free audio and studio utility Stand Alone plugin developed by KaleidonKep99. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

A fully functional MIDI to WAV converter, suitable for normal AND heavy MIDIs (Up to 500 million notes for 32-bit version, unlimited [sorta?] for 64-bit version).

Based around the great BASSMIDI libraries from un4seen, this little and simple tool allows you to convert your favorite MIDIs by using soundfonts. (VST support coming soon)

HOFA 4U ProjectTime is a tool to keep an eye on the time you spent with your projects. It runs as long as the project is loaded but of course can be paused when needed. Also, if you load it some time after you started a project or forgot to pause during a break you can enter an offset.

GNormal

GNormal is a free audio and studio utility VST plugin developed by GVST. Compatible OS(s): Windows 64b, macOS, Linux.

GNormal tries to remedy denormal problems by introducing extremely low-level noise to the signal path. (If you don’t know what that means, then you probably don’t need it).

Some CPUs employ techniques to extend the accuracy of floating-point calculations for very small numbers. These small numbers are called denormals.

Unfortunately, calculations involving denormals can be very slow. This can drastically affect audio DSP performance. In most cases, these numbers are too small to be of any interest anyway.

Adding noise to the signal path can sometimes prevent denormals from getting into subsequent calculations. Obviously, the noise-level used is so low that you cannot hear it.

The simplest way to configure GNormal is to place it before a suspect plug-in and set the Level parameter to maximum. Try each setting of the Type parameter to see if the problem goes away. When you have found a suitable noise-type, you can try lowering the Level.

GFader is a simple volume knob. It has a range of -100 to 0 dB. The signal is silenced at the minimum setting.

Flipper

Flipper is a free audio and studio utility VST plugin developed by reFuse Software. Compatible OS(s): Windows 64b, macOS.

Flipper flips signal polarity (misnomered often as “phase”). That’s it. Why should you care, when so many plug-ins already include a polarity switch in them? Well, because so many DAWs do not include a polarity switch right on their mixers. This means that, instead of being able to try different polarities with ONE click of the mouse, you must open some random plug-in, hunt for the polarity switch, and then hit it.

The idea of the Flipper is to effectively add a polarity switch to any DAW mixer. If the Flipper is on, it’s flipping polarity. If it’s in Bypass, it’s not.

Previously available only as a Pluggo plug-in, the free Flipper plug-in has been reissued in 2019 in native AAX, Audio Unit, and VST formats.
