Multiband Bitcrusher I is a multiple bitcrush & downsample plug-in. It selects 4 frequency bands from the incoming signal – Low; Middle Low; Middle High; High – and then processes them through the bitcrusher and/or the grinder. Frequency cut-off point for each band is selectable in a variable range depending on the band; unselected frequencies are cut.

Mukoco is a comb filter based on the core code from MutantKoto.

The algorithm is an abstraction of a simple plucked string physical model, it is used as an effect on a stereo input stream. The left channel is fed into string polarization A and the right channel is fed into string polarization B. The MutantKoto model acts as an optionally non-linear comb filter on both channels.

Try placing the MSI Stereo Buss Compressor over the main output early on in the mixing process using around 1-3dB of gain reduction.

Buss compressors are often used on signal that display a variation of frequencies and transients such as drum kits and backing vocals.

Try grouping all elements of you drums together into one group. Add the MSI Stereo Buss Compressor onto this group.

Holding down the ‘Shift’ key whilst operating a parameter allows fine adjustments to be made. Holding down ‘CTRL’ and clicking on a parameter reverts it to its default position. (These two operations work on all MSI plugins).

The Game
