BTQ2

BTQ2 is a free equalizer VST plugin developed by J1000. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

BTQ2 is twisting equalizer for bass and treble. Twisting works differently from usual equalization because it relatively preserves output loudness. It does that by using two interlocked pairs of shelf and peak filters – when shelf filter goes up, peak goes down, and vice versa. Some famous studio equalizers use this method to achieve deep bass and sparkling treble while simultaneously reducing muddiness and harshness. You can use it on whole mixes or on individual tracks and it will always speed up the work because it’s simple and intuitive:

Brush Strokes

Brush Strokes is a free software synthesizer developed by ndc Plugs. Available format(s): VST for Windows.

Brush Strokes is an audio-visual instrument with a drawing-based interface. Sound is generated in a manner similar to scanned synthesis, with two oscillators whose waveforms are obtained by scanning the x- and y-axis positions of the trail drawn by the user. The larger the gesture, the louder the sound, and vice-versa, when the mouse is not moving, no sound is generated.

Sending MIDI notes to it will change the pitch of the audio. If you click a mouse button, you will freeze the motion of the brush, and thus the waveforms for the two oscillators will also freeze. The position of the brush, and whether it’s frozen, are both automatable parameters. As the only way to get sound out of the instrument is to move the brush, you won’t be able to record or sequence it in quite the same way you would other VST instruments. Instead of straightforward MIDI data, you’ll need to record your mouse movements as automation.

Brandulator is a free harmonizer and vocoder VST plugin developed by Stone Voices. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

VST-plugin «Brandulator» creates special audio-effect with a peculiar sounding which is similar to a flanger, a vocoder and a harmonizer, but has other principle of operation in case of which the input signal branches on three channels of processing by the set-up comb filters, the tonality of their setup can will change to 16 times for a clock period (Bar). The effect also performs functions of the peculiar arpeggiator functioning synchronously with DAW therefore the detail design shall have the corresponding musical size though it isn’t mandatory.
