Muteomatic is an elegant and simple plug-in that automates the activation of a talkback or listen microphone channel according to your DAW’s transport state and boldly displays the channel’s activation status.

Did you ever find yourself talking to the band in the studio excitedly, only to realize that you’ve spoken to yourself for the last few minutes, because you’d forgotten to press the talkback button? Or did you ever have to put out a fire started by a client who had commented on a talent’s attitude while the talkback mic had been unwittingly left open?

Enter Muteomatic.

Muteomatic will auto-mute the talkback or listen mic channels according to your DAW’s transport state, opening the mic automatically when the DAW stops and muting it back when the DAW is in playback or recording mode, all while clearly displaying when the mic is open or muted, so that you won’t find yourself in awkward positions or have to play fireman again.

In addition, Muteomatic can be used to auto-mute long effect tails or a monitor’s vocal effects when the DAW is no longer playing, clearing the air for intelligible conversation.

Music IO: MIDI over USB

Music IO: MIDI over USB is a free audio and studio utility VST, Audio Unit plugin developed by Secret Base Design. Compatible OS(s): Windows 64b, macOS.

Music IO: MIDI over USB allows you to send MIDI between an iOS device and either a Mac or a PC, using only an ordinary USB sync cable. No camera connection kit, or other hardware — just lightning fast MIDI in both directions, using a cable you already own.

Install Music IO on your iOS device and your desktop, and start the apps on both; when you connect the sync cable, the apps will detect each other automatically. After that, MIDI sent from one side will be forwarded to the other, with latency on the order of a millisecond or less.

If you need audio transfer as well, check out the Music IO: Audio and MIDI over USB (which does, as you might guess, both audio and MIDI). The Mac server can handle either type of connection, making installation easy.

For audio, there are also VST and AU plug-ins, allowing easy integration of iOS synthesizers and effects apps into a traditional desktop environment.

MSLR

What is the MSLR?
The MSLR is an MS audio processor. It can works in three modes:

Encoder (converts the LR input signal to the MS output signal).

Decoder (converts the MS input signal to the LR output signal).

Inline (allows to affect on the Mid and Side components of the stereo signal without the need to convert the input LR signal to the MS signal).

How is the MSLR used?
The MSLR audio processor contains of the MS encoder and decoder, and three audio mixers. These components will be interconnect differently when you change the mode with the big white knob.

Encoder Mode (LR-MS)
Use this mode to convert the input LR signal to the output MS signal.

Decoder Mode (MS-LR)
Use this mode to convert the input MS signal to the output LR signal.

Inline Mode (LR-MS-LR)
Use this mode to affect on the Mid and Side components of the stereo signal without the need to convert the input LR signal to the MS signal.

The Mixers
