PhreePhuzz

PhreePhuzz is a free saturation VST, VST3, Audio Unit, RTAS, AAX plugin developed by LVC-Audio. Compatible OS(s): Windows 64b, macOS.

PhreePhuzz is a saturation plugin pure and simple. Although the controls are very simple to use, PhreePhuzz utilizes many underlying technologies used to create LVC-Audio’s PreAMPed, Toned, TonedPLUS and HotPhuzz plugins. PhreePhuzz has six distinct saturation settings. Each of these settings utilizes a distinctly-tuned multiband saturation algorithm. All internal processing occurs using 4x oversampling to reduce the aliasing effects of saturation.

PhreePhuzz can be pushed into overt distortion; however, it excels at more gentle saturation effects. Each of the four saturation settings has emphasis on different frequency components. PhreePhuzz can be used to give a track low-end saturation without dulling the high frequencies, or it can be used to give a shimmering high-end sparkle without muddying the bass.

System Requirements and Specifications:

Windows: VST, VST3, RTAS, and AAX plugin formats. PhreePhuzz requires Windows XP SP 3 or newer with a processor that supports SSE2 (AMD or Intel processor from around 2004 or later). An iLok device is required to use the AAX format.

OS X: AU, VST, VST3, RTAS, and AAX plugin formats. PhreePhuzz requires OS X 10.5 or later, and an Intel processor. An iLok device is required to use the AAX format.

Phazor is a free phaser VST plugin developed by Adam Szabo. Compatible OS(s): Windows, macOS.

Phazor emulates the phaser effect found in the Virus synthesizers, which helped make its characteristic sound. Every control has been carefully adjusted to behave just like the phaser from the Virus. It has selectable 1 to 6 stage all-pass filters controlled by an LFO, with spread and feedback controls.

The plug-in is highly optimized and its CPU usage is minimal, allowing for multiple instances to be used in a project.

PhaseDelayArray

PhaseDelayArray is a free delay and echo and modulation Audio Unit plugin developed by Music Unfolding. Compatible OS(s): macOS.

PhaseDelayArray has three effect units chained together.

The first unit consists of a sequential array of vibrating (oscillating) reverberation sections. The oscillations can be tiny or huge. The reverb depth can be tiny or huge. The overall effect can be subtle or HUGE. And, it can create a pretty big range of sounds.

The second section is a modulation effect. It takes the output of the PhaseDelays and whips it around, or up-and-down or back-and-forth.

The final section is a feedback unit with the possibility of a lot of delay (up to 5 seconds). The mix section allows you to tap into all this strangeness in four different places.

Pecheneg Tremolo

The Pecheneg Tremolo VST plugin is a tremolo effect, which has the possibility to adjust the shape of the tremolo modulating curve and to synchronize the frequency with a host, or set it manually.

When synchronizing with a host (Tempo: host), the tremolo frequency is adjusted by the Note knob, which sets the modulation period, while the note type (regular, dotted or triplet) can be selected below the knob.

When set manually (Tempo: man), the tremolo frequency (in Hz) can be set directly with the knob Freq.

The Shape, Phase and Symm knobs set the wave form of the modulation, with the amount of modulation set by the Depth knob.

Pastabass

Pastabass virtual instrument is a free bass guitar sound bank for Sforzando, by Karoryfer.

Pastabass is a free sample library of a Squier Bass VI guitar recorded by KVR forum member Space Coyote and edited and mapped by Karoryfer Samples. The Bass VI was marketed as a bass in the 1960s, but in modern terminology it would be a baritone guitar rather than a bass.
