ProgMapper is a MacOS utility which converts MIDI Program Change messages to Control Change messages and outputs them to a virtual MIDI port.

POP Sound Shaper is a compressor/clipper combo. It is also great for getting more control over the dynamic range of your track without losing its transients. The compressor is designed to bring out the transients of the signal. It does this by having attack and release times set to let the transients pass and then immediately clamp down on the signal. Poor Plate is a stereo plate reverb plug-in which emulates a plate reverb algorithm as it was used in the very first digital reverb machines.

Controls:

Dry Level: the level of the original signal, off – 0db.

Wet Level: the level of the reverb signal, off – 0db.

Pre Delay: pre-delay in milliseconds, 0-120.

Decay: decay rate, i.e. how long the reverb tail gets,0.0 – 0.9.

Decay Diffusion: amount of diffusion of the reverb tail.

Input Diffusion: amount of diffusion of the input signal.

Podolski

Podolski is a free software synthesizer developed by u-he. Available format(s): VST, VST3, Audio Unit for Windows 64b, macOS.

Podolski is a simple, CPU-efficient virtual analogue synth. A cut down version of FilterscapeVA with just one oscillator, one filter, one envelope and two LFOs, it also features a Zebra-style arpeggiator/sequencer and chorus/delay effects.

Podolski’s specialities are the Click parameter (emphasizes the filter attack) and its ability to seamlessly morph between three waveforms (WaveWarp).

Version 1.0 was released as a free gift for visitors to the u-he booth during Musikmesse 2005. Right after Musikmesse it went on the cover mount CD of the German KEYBOARDS magazine (later Sound & Recording). Podolski was u-he’s first “magware” offering, and was distributed with each issue until about 2009.

In December 2012 Podolski has been refurbished with new presets by Howard Scarr, has undergone a GUI makeover and supports a wider range of plug-in formats. It has become regular freeware since then, freely available for download from u-he’s website.
