A free collection of samples recorded from two different Commodore 64 home computers. The models used are Commodore 64C and Commodore 64G, both with SID 8580 chips installed. All the sounds were created using the Mono Synthesizer application of the MSSIAH cartridge.

Commodore 64 Synthesizer Sessions Part 1 includes 14 multisampled instruments with a total of 142 samples in 16-bit WAV format. The download includes Kontakt 5 and Shortcircuit 1 patches for each of the multisampled instruments.

Commodore 64 Synthesizer Sessions DELUXE virtual instrument is a free sound bank for Kontakt and Sforzando and Zampler, by Bedroom Producers Blog.

Commodore 64 Synthesizer Sessions DELUXE is a collection of multi-sampled sounds captured directly from 3 different versions of the Commodore 64 home computer. It is a collaborative project between Bedroom Producers Blog and Rhythmic Robot.

The sample library contains 30 individual instrument patches. These patches cover a range of well known Commodore 64 era video game sounds, as well as some classic synth sounds which were recreated using the SID chip.

Our goal was to capture the true character of the SID chip, from its beautiful analog filter to the gritty digital oscillators. The 30 included patches are only a starting point, from which the users can further sculpt the sounds using the included SFZ, NKI and Zampler mappings.

Combiner (Pitchbend)

Combiner (Pitchbend) is a free studio tools VST plugin Reajs and Reaper developed by octarone. Compatible OS(s): anyos.

Combiner (Pitchbend) is a very simple MIDI-only JSFX script that just combines pitchbends from two different channels into one, by summing them up. Channels 1-8 are the main channels, while 9-16 are the channels that get summed up (combined) with the main channels, but in regards to Pitchbend only — other messages are passed through unchanged. For example, channels 1 and 9 will combine into output channel 1 (that contains the sum of their pitchbends), channels 2 and 10 will combine to output channel 2, and so on. (so only the first 8 channels will have pitchbend outputs)

This can be useful if you already have pitchbend messages but want to fine-tune it manually by combining them into one, if the synth does not support multiple ways to control that behavior.
