Gombulator

Gombulator virtual instrument is a free sound bank for Kontakt, by Fine Cut Bodies.

Gombulator is a free Kontakt instrument based on a rare portable synth from the early ’80s. The Yamaha PSR-15 has six preset sounds plus a set of drums, all of which were meticulously sampled before arranging them into the twisted interface of Gombulator.

The instrument has been heavily used on Hungarian Synth Pop duo, The Gomb’s debut album Breaks (and Amends) released on Chi-Recordings.

Gogodze Phu Vol I is a free open-source percussion library for Plogue Sforzando. It contains a set of five bobobo drums from Ghana, and a cajon.

A collection of sounds captured from a black Nintendo Game Boy running LSDJ software. The sounds were created using LSDJ’s synthesis engine, combined with the built-in pattern editor.

All sounds in Game Boy LSDJ Noise & Glitch Sessions are provided 100% dry, delivering the authentic Game Boy sound and all of its anomalies.

You’ll probably notice that the included sounds are much more aggressive than what you’d expect to hear in a standard Game Boy video game, for example. The goal was to achieve a glitchy, noisy vibe, and the LSDJ synthesizer engine turned out as a great tool for creating such sounds.

Game Boy Drum Kit is a free drum sample pack featuring the sounds of a black Nintendo Game Boy running LSDJ software. The pack contains 64 unprocessed Game Boy samples in 24-bit WAV format (44.1 kHz), along with a set of NKI and SFZ patches.

The included samples are completely dry and unprocessed, apart from the fact that they’ve been recorded through a compact tube preamp. In addition to the standard selection of 8-bit drum hits, the pack also contains a bonus set of classic chiptune style arpeggios, SFX hits and pulse wave bass samples.

Game Boy Drum Kit includes two types of NKI patches. The first one is a simple Kontakt instrument with a set of basic control parameters, whereas the other one is an advanced experimental drum machine crafted by Fairly Confusing Waveforms.
