Devicer is a simulator of 16 different devices. This multi-fx plugin highlights the positive and negative aspects of the various devices and you can customize the character of each of it through two basic parameters.

This plugin can be used on the master channel, on individual tracks to give a vintage touch to your sound or use it creatively.

Danaides

Danaides is a free multi fx and glitch and delay and echo and pitch shifter and bit crusher VST, Audio Unit plugin developed by Inear Display. Compatible OS(s): Windows 64b, macOS.

Danaides is a sequenced sound mangler with a powerful modulation section.

It gives you the ability to route the input signal through a filter and three sound destruction effect processors : a “driller” that will loop and repitch very small slices of the signal, a “metalizer” delay and a samplerate reducer.

With the built-in effect and dry-wet sequencers, you can generate various tempo-synced effect phrases and modulate the overall depth of the effect.

Danaides includes a powerful LFO section with flexible routing and waveform morph.

Additional features include the ability to resize the plugin interface to fit your display (Windows and OS X only), share your presets between plugin formats and platforms, map your MIDI controller easily using the built-in MIDI learn system, trigger presets using MIDI program changes, as well as a TouchOSC layout to give you instant MIDI control of all the parameters.

CromFX is a free multi fx and chorus and delay and phaser VST plugin developed by WOK. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

CromFX is a vintage-style effect plug-in with different chorus, phaser and delay models.

CromFX features 4 chorus variations, modelled after vintage circuits, 3 phaser types and the choice between 2 delays with host sync, of which one is simulating a tape delay.

The multi-chorus unit delivers lush and deep modulation sounds. The deep phaser effect and the delay can be added to accomplish the vintage sound.

The reproduction of the sonic instabilities of old hardware in this plugin transforms a simple sawtooth synth into a swirling string ensemble or a wide analog pad. But the comprehensive controls make it suitable for a wide range of signals from bass or drums to even vocals.

Bit Twiddler

Bit Twiddler is a free multi fx and modulation and bit crusher plugin developed by DocNashSynths. Compatible OS(s): Windows .

Manipulate the bits of a sinewave to create rich sounds which change as they play.

Bit Twiddler converts each sample of a simple sinewave to 8 bits, and then lets you shift, re-arrange and flip those bits. This results in the creation of highly complex waveforms.

Bit Twiddler can be considered a ‘method showcase’ product as it introduces a novel synthesis technique via a functioning product, so as to bring it to the attention of other developers who may then choose to evolve and incorporate it into their existing or future products.

Of course Bit Twiddler is useable as-is, as a stand-alone, unrestricted synth for producing a variety of new sounds and textures. The application provides controls for dynamically changing the amplitude of the sinewave prior to the bit operations, as this alters the waveform shape by accentuating certain wave segments and suppressing others, and changes the sound without any perceived ‘discontinuities’ (as long as the range of amplitude change is constrained by the user to certain bounds).

It is just that the application is lacking in ‘trimmings’ like the ability to save and load patches.

Azurite

Azurite is a multi-voice chorus with a focus on rich sounds and versatile controls.

Unlike most choruses, Azurite allows for multiple simultaneous voices. Each of these voices has its own delay line that is modulated by a separate LFO. Adding multiple voices leads to a thicker, smoother, and less wobbly tone. It also makes vivid stereo spreading possible with a mono signal. The Voices control chooses how many voices the chorus uses: one, two, four, or eight.

Argotlunar

Argotlunar is a real-time delay-line granulator. It breaks up an incoming audio stream into short samples (Grains). Each grain can have random settings of amplitude, panning, duration, delay, pitch, glissando, filter and envelope. The output of all grains is mixed and sent to the main output. The main output can be fed back into the main input.

Most of the parameters can be correlated. Examples: Higher filter cutoff for grains with higher pitch, and vice versa. Grains with shorter duration can be panned to the center, and conversely the grains with longer duration can be panned wide in the stereo field.

Details:

Time-related parameters can be synced to the host tempo.

Pitch-related parameters can be quantized to various chords/scales.

Up to three pairs of parameters can be correlated.
