PhaseDelayArray

PhaseDelayArray is a free delay and echo and modulation Audio Unit plugin developed by Music Unfolding. Compatible OS(s): macOS.

PhaseDelayArray has three effect units chained together.

The first unit consists of a sequential array of vibrating (oscillating) reverberation sections. The oscillations can be tiny or huge. The reverb depth can be tiny or huge. The overall effect can be subtle or HUGE. And, it can create a pretty big range of sounds.

The second section is a modulation effect. It takes the output of the PhaseDelays and whips it around, or up-and-down or back-and-forth.

The final section is a feedback unit with the possibility of a lot of delay (up to 5 seconds). The mix section allows you to tap into all this strangeness in four different places.

pHaasE

pHaasE is a free phaser VST plugin developed by Noisebud. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

pHaasE is a rest product from a series of experiments with the Haas effect conducted by Noisebud. pHaasE delay the side information within the Haas time boundaries and totally screw up your audios imaging but will leave a totally new stereo image which might sound very pleasing both on single elements in the mix or in a mastering situation.
The technique can be useful when trying to rescue badly imaged mixes or just to add another flavor to your stereo content:

Double click the mid/side controller to center it.

The plugin need a stereo-signal to work properly.

Pedals

Pedals is a free multi fx and overdrive and saturation and amp simulator and delay and echo and flanger and phaser and pitch shifter and reverb and eq and filter VST plugin developed by ToneBytes. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

Pedals is a VST effect plug-in designed for processing electric guitar and bass. It is also possible to process other audio sources for a variety of artistic techniques.

The Pedals GUI simulates real devices for sound processing: guitar pedals, amplifiers, speakers, etc. There are a total of 20 models of pedals, 2 amps, 7 speakers models and 3 rack units. These devices are not a copy of the real-life models, each with their own sound, but their working principles are identical.

The user can select a combination of effects and can even create extra mood by choosing floor material under the pedals: house parquet, metal garage floor or studio carpet.

There is a built-in preset manager to save the settings and access them or share them with other users. VST automation and full MIDI Learning are supported.

Pecheneg Tremolo

Pecheneg Tremolo is a free tremolo VST, Audio Unit plugin developed by PechenegFX. Compatible OS(s): Windows 64b, macOS.

The Pecheneg Tremolo VST plugin is a tremolo effect, which has the possibility to adjust the shape of the tremolo modulating curve and to synchronize the frequency with a host, or set it manually.

When synchronizing with a host (Tempo: host), the tremolo frequency is adjusted by the Note knob, which sets the modulation period, while the note type (regular, dotted or triplet) can be selected below the knob.

When set manually (Tempo: man), the tremolo frequency (in Hz) can be set directly with the knob Freq.

The Shape, Phase and Symm knobs set the wave form of the modulation, with the amount of modulation set by the Depth knob.

OwlSim

OwlSim is a free multi fx and delay and distortion and flanger and phaser VST, Audio Unit plugin developed by Rebel Technology. Compatible OS(s): Windows 64b, macOS.

The OwlSim is a VST simulation of the OWL programmable effects pedal.

We’ve just released a VST/AU plugin binary of the OWLSim in its current state featuring a bunch of different plugin effects that you can switch between.

We see VST generation as a pleasant side-effect of the OWL project that allows people to easily test and debug their code in a familiar environment – the main purpose of the OWLSim framework is developing patches for the hardware, so don’t expect a super-neat GUI and bear in mind that the only controllable parameters represent the physical knobs on the OWL pedal.

You can of course change all of this within the framework, so if you want to try making your own binaries, you can download the OWLSim from here:

OttoVibe

OttoVibe is a free multi fx and tremolo and vibrato and panner and chorus and lfo Audio Unit plugin developed by Music Unfolding. Compatible OS(s): macOS.

OttoVibe is an auto/touch effect with MIDI control. OttoVibe works much like an envelope-controlled filter, except that instead of a filter, it has a modulation section. The envelope controls the rate and depth of the modulation effect.

OttoVibe includes a variety of effects including tremolo, vibrato, panning, and chorus. Altogether, OttoVibe has eight different types of effects. The effects can be dynamically manipulated using “touch” or expression pedal controls, much the same way a touch wah works. Even though OttoVibe tends to be more subtle than its siblings (OttoPhormant and OttoPhilter), it is very expressive.

OSL Chorus is modelled after the Juno 60’s onboard chorus. It produces rich, wide choruses that are perfect for bringing dry synthesizers to life, but it sounds equally good on guitar, bass, and other instruments.
