Parallel Phase Limiter

This is your new limiter rack with mid side parallel matrix. This rack will allow you to move your sounds and instruments around in your mix while also giving you parallel control over your phasing and or correlation of your mix.this Rack consist of 11 plugins, 2 limiter 6 plugins (if you don’t own this plugin you can download limiter 6 for free @ www.vst4free) or KVR kvraudio.com/product/limiter-no6-by-vladg-sound.

This Rack also 7 Tracktion volume and pan filters and 2 Tracktion EQ’s placed in this order (remember this is parallel Rack so we will call the parallel signals (top)channel 1 and (bottom) channel 2):

channel 1: limiter 6 (all processor on except clipper/min latency), 4 volume and pan filters, EQ, Limiter 6 (clipper and protection the only processors on).

channel 2: 3 volume and pan, EQ, Limiter 6 (clipper and protection the only processors on BY DEFAULT).

Use both signals to take away or make more space and depth with moving the volume and pan filters.

Master

Master is a free limiter VST plugin developed by Ourafilmes. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

This effect is basically a remix of technologies from 5 of our processors into 1 plugin: Stereo to Mono (mono), OuraGain (phase reverse), Central Station (m/s), Speaker Blower (limiter) and BassDrive (auto-gain feature). The pan stage is exclusive and is brand new (this is 0dB Center, OuraGain pan is -3dB Center).

Use this 100% transparent processor to polish the final sound of your tracks. With it inserted in your master channel, you are able to control your final sound by: controlling the final phase/width adjustments in the M/S stage, control of pan (if one side has higher level), phase reverse (if needed), mono check or even with the auto-gain feature that allows you to keep the overall volume but to gain up to 6 dB in the signal level. If your audio signal has occasional peaks above 0 dBFS, this plugin can act as a natural limiter (just by being inserted!), preventing these situations and avoiding signal level to peak 0 dB, thus avoiding the red light – warning of clipping.

This plugin is fully interactive: if you turn the mono switch on, the M/S light turns into green (even if m/s stage is switched off), the “Pan” and “Sides” knobs loose their lights (meaning that they won’t work in mono mode) and the m/s level meter will display only the center (in green); if you switch down the M/S stage, the “Mid” and “Sides” knobs will loose their lights; if you turn the power off all the lights will also turn off.

Full automation, MIDI learn (right-click knobs), zero latency.

This is a 32-bit VST plugin and is not available individually. It is only included in the Facebook Pack and you must like the Ourafilmes Facebook page to be able to download it for free.

LSP Begrenzer – Limiter plugin series is a free limiter VST, LV2, Ladspa plugin developed by Linux Studio Plugins Project. Compatible OS(s): Linux.

This plugin implements a brick-wall limiter with flexible configuration. It prevents input monosignal from raising over the specified Threshold.

Attention: this plugin implements set of limiting modes, most of them are iterative. That means that CPU load may be not stable, in other words: the more work should be done, the more CPU resources will be used. Beware from extreme settings.

Limiter

Limiter is a free limiter VST, Audio Unit, AAX plugin developed by kiloHearts. Compatible OS(s): Windows 64b, macOS.

Whether you want to crank the last drops of gain out of your track or just want to control a few loud peaks, a Limiter can be the weapon of choice.

By looking a little bit into the future, a limiter can make sure your signal never goes louder than you want it to without distorting or destroying transients:

In gain knob – Gain to apply to the input signal before limiting.

Out gain knob – Gain to apply to the input signal after limiting.

Threshold knob – The maximum allowed volume.

Release knob – The release adjust how quickly the limiter returns the volume back to normal after limiting it due to a peak in the input volume.

VU Meter – Displays the current input level, the selected threshold, and the limiter’s current attenuation.

Settings panel – Whenever you have your mouse cursor over a snapin theree is a small arrow at the top right corner (not visible in screenshot). It opens a settings panel where you handle presets.

Enabled checkbox – The small checkbox to the left of the plugin name is a checkbox that bypasses the effect when disabled.

Resize handle – The bottom right corner of all Kilohearts plugins is a resize handle for scaling the UI to any size. This allows you to get a good view of the controls whatever the screen resolution, and also comes in handy if you need big controls, e.g. when using Limiter as a real-time effect on a touchscreen monitor during a live set. (This is not available when the snapin is used inside a snapin host.).

Limiter shines on it’s own, but it was primarily created to power up the different “Snapin Hosts” Kilohearts offer.
