Canjo virtual instrument is a free canjo and banjo sound bank for Kontakt, by Embertone.

Embertone’s Canjo is a free instrument for Kontakt FULL (not the player) 4.2.4+. It is a buzzy, twangy, single-stringed instrument with a lot of personality.

The main instrument includes three articulations: fingered, picked, and muted. There are also lots of round robins and dynamic layers, which makes the instrument feel very natural.

A Canjo is a single string musical instrument. It is held like a guitar but may also be played on a table or lap. The neck is made of furniture grade kiln dried hard wood hand rubbed with boiled linen seed oil. On the neck fretted diatonically (like a dulcimer including a 6-1/2 fret) are twelve notes or finger positions.
