Acustica Audio is pleased to announce the free N4 Player. N4 Player supersedes the previously available N4 free which is now obsolete and no longer available. N4 Player is here to offer to all customers important new features and improvements. Why a new tool for N4 product line?

While N4 free could load only free emulation presets and free libraries, N4 Player can also run full N4 libraries, Aqua libraries for N4 and standalone Aqua Effect plug-ins. Moreover, N4 Player offers a seamless crossgrade path to the paid full version of N4. Once crossgraded, DAW sessions created with N4 Player will automatically be updated to the full N4 version.

Nomenclature

Nebula libraries for N4. A Nebula library is a collection of emulation presets created with the proprietary sampling application NAT. A Nebula library for N4 can include a custom skin or use factory generic skin (see pictures provided).

Acqua libraries for N4. An Acqua library is similar to a Nebula library but it is built by merging several emulation presets into a single one, resulting in a more complex simulation with a custom user interface (see pictures provided).

Acqua Effect plug-ins. Acqua Effect plug-ins are standard standalone plug-ins in VST2, AAX and AU format. However, they can also be loaded in N4 and N4 Player to take advantage of some additional functions (see pictures provided).

Aquarius. Aquarius is a stand-alone assistant application from Acustica Audio created to help and assist users to download, install, update, and authorize all marketplace featured products.

Marketplace. Acustica Audio’s marketplace is our fully integrated with Aquarius on-line shop, which allows ‘official 3rd party developers’ (1) to sell Nebula libraries and Acqua libraries for N4 in the same way as Acqua Effect plug-ins are being sold at the moment. Such products can be downloaded and authorized using Aquarius immediately after their purchase.

About N4 update & crossgrade option to N4

N4 Player offers a seamless crossgrade path to the paid full version of N4. Once crossgraded your created with N4 Player DAW sessions will automatically be updated to the full N4 version.

A new version of N4 is available coinciding with the launch of N4 Player including new features and bug fixes.

Multiply

Multiply is a free chorus VST, Audio Unit, AAX plugin developed by Acon Digital. Compatible OS(s): Windows, macOS.

Acon Digital Multiply is a versatile chorus effect with a unique twist. Each simulated voice is processed with a phase randomizing filter so that unpleasant comb filter effects are avoided. The effect can be used to simulate the effect of several performers playing the same tones simultaneously, to widen the spatial image or to create special effects for sound design. Multiply can simulate up to 6 additional voices and both the pitch and the loudness of the voices can be modulated. There is also an integrated equalizer consisting of low cut, low shelf, high shelf and high cut filters that can be applied to the effect signal. An integrated pre-delay section makes it possible to create modulated and diffuse echo effects.

Acon Digital Multiply is available free of charge for both Windows (PC) and OS X (Macintosh). Both 32 and 64-bit versions are available, and the plug-in formats VST, AAX and Audio Units (OS X only) are supported.
