Skiff is a round robin faker effect for single-layer drums. It sequences filters and volume. This simulates hitting the drums at different places and velocities.

Sizzle Spine is a step-sequenced FX unit designed for new forms of distortion. It allows subtle-to-extreme destruction effects by step-sequencing columns of various distortion FX units. Various step-types are available such as cycling, skipping, random, and reverse. The step-sequencer speed can be controlled by hand or internal automation. The step-through FX included are Waveshapers, Bitcrushers, “Rectizers”, and Delays. Sizzle Spine also has a global Delay and LFO driven Analog Filter, as well as incoming and outgoing Audio Clipping controls.

Rubberfilter offers four classic filter modes to cut frequencies with up to 384 dB/Oct. It removes frequencies in any audio signal, while providing an additional creative purpose. Rubberfilter has a controllable filter order of 6 dB/Oct up to 384 dB/Oct. At high filter order levels, a psychoacoustic effect appears which is usually an unwanted sound of zips and sweeps, almost as if there is a tone present at the filter’s cut-off frequency. Rubberfilter allows you to use this psychoacoustic effect for creative purposes.

The Collective 8 Audio Unit Bundle consists of three Audio Units: F8-V2, Mod8 and Res8. All three share a similar amplitude modulation sequence configuration. The audio stream is copied into 8 identical streams and an amplitude modulation pattern can be applied to each stream. The amplitude modulation patterns can be drawn to any shape, with an-easy-to use editing environment that automatically appears when hovering over the patterns with a mouse. Each stream also has filters or effects applied to it individually. The streams are then mixed back together.
The plug-ins:
- F8-V2 has LFOs, which are applied to highpass, bandpass or lowpass filters.
- Res8 has a choice of a driven, nonlinear, multi-stage filter or formant filters that can be independently applied to each audio stream.
- Mod8 has a range of modulation effects like vibrato and ring modulation. It also has echo, reverb, sub-octave, and pitch shifting.
The result is up to 8 different effects running all at the same time, each with its own settings and amplitude sequences. This layering gives unlimited options to create incredibly interesting effects, from intricate and wild effects, to rich, textured reverb, echo, chorus-type effects. The Collective 8 Audio Units come with hundreds of presets. Amplitude modulation patterns can be copied and pasted within each AU or between them.

Ranger LE is a smaller version of Ranger and is a very simple effect that allows you to remove unwanted frequencies and saturate the resulting signal.
It features one low cut filter and one high cut filter (12 or 24 dB per octave) and a final gain knob. There’s also a master bypass switch.
This effect has full automation.
