kalipheno sample pack

kalipheno sample pack is a free sample pack by Andrulian. Avalaible audio files format(s): sfz, .wav 24b.

kalipheno is a sci-fi themed sample pack created using a variety of sounds I have created from sources including percussive impact sounds, electronic toys and field recorded sounds. These have been mangled, glitched and processed in various ways in Sensomusic Usine Hollyhock II using Incipit by Inear Display; Subvert, Convex and Cryogen by Glitchmachines; Fog Convolver by Audio Thing and various delays and reverbs. The effects have been used in various configurations and routings.

The pack contains 296 samples comprising of atmospheres, textures, glitches, robotic artefacts and impacts which give the sound of a dystopian future.

I’ve added a demo track of some of the sounds which are played clean with no effects applied. The two demo songs have been created using only sounds from the sample pack processed with Tremolator by Soundtoys; Incipit by Inear Display; Cryogen by Glitchmachines; Spaces and Deelay by Hornet.

Creating drum samples from scratch can be very time consuming and it’s surely not for everyone but luckily for me it turned out that designing sounds, finding new effect chains and just experimenting with sound is something that I dig nearly as much as producing music. The idea of this kit was born in early 2015 when I decided to create some really dope drum samples for myself. I wanted to have something good enough so I don’t have to shift thru tons of drums, mess with advanced layering or have to put effects on my samples right after loading them into sampler just to make it sound good every time I want to lay down some drums. To be honest, there’s a lot of drum samples which sound excellent right out of the box, but most of them are focused more on modern sound which is great (and I’m often in need of those kind of sounds) but for me, there’s nothing better than good quality, juicy, old school sounding drums with a (little) modern twist. And that’s how I began creating my own library of hip hop drums.

So here it is, Influential Kit – it’s a mixture of samples which I’ve created for myself and samples created strictly for this library – it’s a quite big collection (500 drum samples) of dark, warm and noisy / dirty samples aimed for hip-hop producers. It’s all original material (all source material for this pack was recorded or synthesized by me), you won’t find here any reused samples from other kits available on the internet.

I think it’s a dope product and I hope that you’ll think the same, but enough with the words – feel free to listen to some demos that I’ve created for this drum kit and don’t forget to check out the free version Influential Kit LITE – it contains 50 samples from the full version.

Gratis IR virtual instrument is a free sound bank for Iris, by Homegrown Sounds.

Gratis IR, as the name suggests, is a completely free collection of pads for iZotope Iris which is equal to half of one of the paid collections. Although some samples are used from the other Iris releases, the actual Iris instruments are all unique to Gratis IR.

The instruments were constructed using 1-3 samples and take full advantage of the spectral features of Iris, and most have Aftertouch assigned to the Filter Cutoff. The intention was to provide musically useful pads full of texture and movement. All 100 WAVs that form the Gratis Sample collection are also available to explore when creating your own sounds:

A collection of sounds captured from a black Nintendo Game Boy running LSDJ software. The sounds were created using LSDJ’s synthesis engine, combined with the built-in pattern editor.

All sounds in Game Boy LSDJ Noise & Glitch Sessions are provided 100% dry, delivering the authentic Game Boy sound and all of its anomalies.

You’ll probably notice that the included sounds are much more aggressive than what you’d expect to hear in a standard Game Boy video game, for example. The goal was to achieve a glitchy, noisy vibe, and the LSDJ synthesizer engine turned out as a great tool for creating such sounds.
