Quick start:
Remember, OverDubber 2 was primarily designed to create trippy delays out of the incoming audio, for example the end of reggae/Dub vocal phrases. For example, if the vocals say “Out to the beat!” and you want “Out to the Beat! Beat! Beat! Beat! Beat!” where that snippet modulates slowly into a trippy world of sounds. You get the drill right?
So.
1) Automate the Delay Engine “MUTE” to open the incoming audio at a specific moment (example: end of a reggae vocal phrase) where you want the delay to start.
2) Automate the Delay Engine “ON/OFF” button to clean things up when you stop playing the project or move previous to the phrase you want repeated. Will be off most of the time, and go on a big earlier than the “MUTE” button to allow the engine to start without clicks.
3) The “Explode” button is your friend, it will allow you to keep the delay alive, otherwise it will behave more like normal delay. Automate it to be off all the time and turn it on where you want the delay to start feeding back constantly and onwards until you go off again when you want the delay to fade out.
4) Use the filter cut to slowly modulate the resonance as the delay repeats so it doesn’t stay in one frequency. This will create trippy things!!.
5) Use the PANIC! button if things go out of hand….remember, OverDubber 2 has an internal brickwall limiter so don’t be scared.

OttoVibe is an auto/touch effect with MIDI control. OttoVibe works much like an envelope-controlled filter, except that instead of a filter, it has a modulation section. The envelope controls the rate and depth of the modulation effect.
OttoVibe includes a variety of effects including tremolo, vibrato, panning, and chorus. Altogether, OttoVibe has eight different types of effects. The effects can be dynamically manipulated using “touch” or expression pedal controls, much the same way a touch wah works. Even though OttoVibe tends to be more subtle than its siblings (OttoPhormant and OttoPhilter), it is very expressive.

OttoPhormant is a wah effect based on morphing formant filters. It can be controlled using touch-triggered sweeps or envelope tracking. The filters can also be controlled using MIDI expression control.
There are 10 formant or vowel types available. The effect works by selecting three vowel sounds – start, middle and end – and morphing from one vowel to the next. There are 10 possible vowels that can be used in each of the three locations.
The formants are created by three filters. The filters can be either bandpass or a combination of two bandpass and one lowpass. The bandpass settings are similar to a traditional wah pedal. The filters are a special combination of Music Unfolding’s multi-stage driven filter. You can choose from 1, 2, 3, and 4 stage filters. You also have control of the resonance and drive for the filters. There’s a lot of control for setting up just how you want this effect to talk to you.

OttoPhilter is an auto/touch wah filter with LFO control and sub-octave generation and a second auto/touch wah filter on the sub-octave. There’s a level meter tied to the touch wah sensitivity to help you adjust OttoPhilter to suit your playing dynamics. OttoPhilter has two driven resonant filter sections – one on the input signal and one for the generated sub-octave. The filters sweep by using triggered envelopes or tracking the input signal or using LFOs.
