ATKSideChainCompressor is a stereo compressor with a side chain stereo input.

It can work in left/right or middle/side mode or in linked mode, allowing channels to be steered by a mix of power coming from each channel, each passing through its own attack-release filter. It enables more creative workflows with makeup gain specific to each channel.

The compressors have color section on top of the usual controls, with an optional Middle/Side processing as well as side-chain working either on each channel separately or in middle/side as well.

ATK SD1 is an emulation of the Boss SD1 overdrive. It is built on top of the Audio ToolKit library, and implements the overdrive (oversampling x8) and the tone sections of the original pedal.

Contrary to usual distortions, the SD1 features an asymmetric overdrive section that adds even harmonics to the sound.

ASlicer

ASlicer is a free slicer stand alone application developed by DNBAPP. Compatible OS(s): iOS.

ASlicer is a flexible granular synthesis based audio manipulation tool. Part sampler, part sequencer, part remix tool.

The app records to a sound buffer through the internal microphone (or via Audiobus), from an audio file or both simultaneously. During the recording process the application detects hit points, which after the recording process has completed it uses to assign a series of slices to each of the apps 16 Tiles. Slice assignment can be changed manually afterwards if so desired. Each of the sixteen tiles is a playback machine in its own right with it’s own set of assignable playback parameters and Fx settings, which can be mixed and adjusted within each of the Tiles “Pad” mode. Patterns of tiles can be recorded and played back using the tile sequencer panel.

Arsenal Compressor LE

Arsenal Compressor LE is a free compressor VST plugin developed by Ourafilmes. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

This plugin is a complete vintage compressor with internal side-chain filters and M/S (Mid/Side) processing. This free LE version does not feature the Threshold and Mix knobs or their functions: it has a fixed threshold (-25 dB) and its set as 100% wet effect (you can’t blend it with the original signal). Use it to process any sound that needs dynamic processing. Use the side-chain feature to process only certain frequencies, leaving the other frequencies unprocessed. And last but not least, with the M/S feature, you can process dynamically only the Mid, the Sides or even achieve parallel compression (50/50) but in M/S.

This is a 32-bit VST plugin and it is a limited version of the Arsenal Compressor plugin, only available in our FX and Total Packs.

as_fbComp

as_fbComp is a free compressor VST plugin developed by Anton Savov. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

as_fbComp is a Feedback Compressor/Limiter.

The plug-in uses 2 input and 2 output channels.

There are two modes of operation:

Mono – the detector uses L and R input channels, but only the L channel is sent out as audio (R input is used as side-chain input).

Stereo – the detector uses L and R input channels, and they are both processed with gain reduction and sent out (gain reduction is the same for both).

This compressor is not transparent. It has DC-removing filters on the inputs and outputs, and the outputs pass through a slightly non-symmetrical soft-shaper, which also hard-clips to 0dB.

Main controls:

Threshold.

Input (pre-amplification).

Attack.

Release.

Output (post-amplification).

Dry.

Side-chain controls:

Source (balance between L and R for the detector, only works in Mono mode).

Low shelf Gain.

Argotlunar

Argotlunar is a free multi fx and echo and delay and filter and pitch shifter and time stretcher and granulizer VST, Audio Unit plugin developed by Michael Ourednik. Compatible OS(s): Windows 64b, macOS.

Argotlunar is a real-time delay-line granulator. It breaks up an incoming audio stream into short samples (Grains). Each grain can have random settings of amplitude, panning, duration, delay, pitch, glissando, filter and envelope. The output of all grains is mixed and sent to the main output. The main output can be fed back into the main input.

Most of the parameters can be correlated. Examples: Higher filter cutoff for grains with higher pitch, and vice versa. Grains with shorter duration can be panned to the center, and conversely the grains with longer duration can be panned wide in the stereo field.

Details:

Time-related parameters can be synced to the host tempo.

Pitch-related parameters can be quantized to various chords/scales.

Up to three pairs of parameters can be correlated.

Raised-cosine-bell, parabolic, and triangle grain envelopes, with adjustable shape.

Transposition is spline-interpolated to reduce aliasing.
