Soul Force! is basically a waveshaper, but the shape control can be modulated using the feedback control and source switch, which makes things a lot more interesting.

SGA1566 preamplifier is loosely based on a single channel all tube vintage preamplifier. To achieve the most authentic analog sound, the whole circuit is simulated in real time using the high performance circuit simulator. This level of sound fidelity comes at a price of high CPU utilization. For cases where such a CPU hit is prohibitive, we have added a model that is significantly less CPU intensive but slightly less accurate than the circuit simulation.
Use SGA1566 preamp to add warmth to a track, as a saturation compressor, or to add “dirt” with tube overdrive.

Sine-based waveshaping distortion. A rather nasty effect, especially with lower “divisor” values. Values of 2 or higher are closer to a standard soft-clipping transfer function. Use the input level to control drive.

This is a two-stage distortion unit. It is not designed to sound analog or tube-like, it just destroys stuff. The two stages are different from each other, and there is a nice set of tone-shaping features.

Saturation Knob is the analog sounding, simple to use, yet versatile way of adding some sweet distortion to your tracks. The knob itself controls the amount of saturation, and there are three different distortion characteristics to choose from by flicking the switch.
With the switch set to Neutral, the entire frequency spectrum of the sound gets distorted when you turn up the Saturation knob. Put it on Keep Low, and the saturation will mainly affect the lower part of the frequency spectrum, while the top end stays clear. Conversely, with Keep High selected, the low end will retain its clear sound and instead only the treble parts of the sound will get distorted. This makes a wide variety of distortion characteristics available to you.

Saturate is a simple saturation plugin.
It is not aimed to replicate the saturation of a particular device, it just makes a saturation in the strict sense of the term.
The plugin processes the waveform to make the saturation effect, by cutting the waveform as soon as the level exceeds a threshold value. The output gain is then automatically adjusted to correct the loss of global level. For a better quality, an oversampling of x4 is used for the processing.

Saro is a tube distortion effect with cabinet modeling. It’s based on AX-84 High Octane guitar amp; only the preamp part is modeled.
Don’t expect Fender-style creamy warmth – Saro goes for full-on crunch (or insanity with high drive settings).
NOTE: Saro uses the hosts’s default GUI.
