Dolphin Bassline is a simple monosynth with a diode-ladder filter circuit-model and the general feature-set inspired by the famous silverbox. It’s not an entirely serious reproduction, but still attempts to match the general character to a certain degree.

DoFi is a toy for making formanty sounds.
It has two different modes, and two dials to automate the vowel produced.
It includes the same 23 waveforms that appear in F2FM and STriFE, though few of them really mesh with the formant effect.
Think of this as a variation on Delay Lama.

Distel was more or less the Test synth for Fratzoor, but in the end it didn’t sound too bad I think. There is not a lot to say about Distel. It’s based on subtractive synthesis and distorting in many different ways (1 Waveshaper for each Oscillator and another Waveshaper behind the Filters) has a bass enhancer with several controls and some other things you will find out.

dirty harry is an unashamedly DIY lofi synth based on samples of dlM’s two home-made, lo-fi noise-makers, the Atari Punk Console and the BugBrand WOM.
dirty harry offers 20 unique waveforms in all their mono/monophonic glory. For extra grit the oscillators can be sync’d or ring modulated. Fidelity can be lowered further still with reduction in sample quality, distortion and a unique ‘bad contact’ emulation. 2 tempo-sync LFOs allow modulation of filter, pitch and contact, with one LFO modulating the depth and frequency of the other. There are envelopes for volume, pitch and filter, with different contours and pitch options. Throw in an arpeggiator, pitch drift and portamento and you can see that, whilst it may be lofi in sound, it doesn’t lack for sound design features.

Dexed is a multi platform, multi format plugin synth that is closely modeled on the Yamaha DX7. Under the hood it uses music-synthesizer-for-android for the synth engine.
The goal of this project is to be a tool/companion for the original DX7. Sound engine with ‘float’ value parameters, different waveform à la TX81z would be great but anything that goes beyond the DX7 should and will be a fork of this project. This is to keep the compatibility with the original machine.
Dexed is licensed on the GPL v3.
