Studio Devil BVC (British Valve Custom) is a guitar tube amplifier modeling plug-in that is designed to mimic the character of “British”-style vacuum tube heads. This virtual tube amplifier processor is based on authentic models of 12AX7A vacuum tube preamps and tube power stages. While primarily intended for guitar amp modeling and direct recording of both electric guitar and bass, Studio Devil BVC excels wherever natural tube overdrive and distortion is needed.

British Valve Custom features the basic controls of a guitar amp: GAIN, TONE, and DRIVE. It is based on the gain structure of popular British Valve (Tube) heads like those made by Marshall with some subtle modifications to give it slightly more gain. boost is a dual-band parallel compression effect that enhances your audio by boosting the lows and highs whilst still letting some of the original signal through to get a nice blend. This preserves the transients and mid range of the dry signal, overlayed with the compressed lows and highs to enhance bass and boost air. Increase the gain to get more compression, then tweak the low and high band to suit the sound you want. The boost knob increases the mix of compressed audio with the dry signal.

BoomComb

BoomComb is a free chorus and flanger VST plugin developed by Boomplug. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

BoomComb is a MIDI tuneable comb filter perfect for creating similar effects to a flanger or for just generally doing things like spicing up synthetic drums. The delay time to the comb is set in Hz and allows it to be set by the notes that are pressed on a MIDI keyboard as well as the pitchbend wheel. It can also be used to create sounds similar to stringed instruments if noise is input.
