Barberpole Flanger offers a simple “Barberpole flanger” implementation. Barberpole flanging is also known as “infinite flanging”, this sonic illusion is similar to the Shepard tone effect. The sweep of the flanged sound seems to move in only one direction (“up” or “down”) infinitely, instead of sweeping back-and-forth.

BallSequencer

BallSequencer is a free sequencer VST developed by UplandToys. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

BallSequencer is based around the idea of MIDI notes generated by balls moving around inside a rectangular area. Notes are triggered whenever a ball collides with the boundary of the rectangle. You can set parameters that will control the movement of each ball, in addition to possible note and velocity values. It can be effective for quickly generating percussive or melodic patterns.

You can have 1-6 balls bouncing around in the rectangle at any time, each ball has it’s own horizontal parameter strip, and an associated color.

BallSequencer is now follow-ware. No limitations have been imposed on the free version, but a nag screen will appear every 30 minutes during use. By following me on either SoundCloud or Facebook, you are entitled to the full (nag-free) version of the plug-in. Badass virtual instrument is a free bass sound bank for Kontakt, by DCSI.

Badass is a free sample based Kontakt instrument produced by DCSI.

Wrapped in a 30 MB instrument size it’s a sampled and edited old school bass synth, spread across 3 octaves, coming with some optional gritty flavour added by using the modwheel of your controller, plus a delay effect and several play modes.

Badass plays at its best with the mono/unisono settings on, available on the GUI.
