CLOCKWOrK is a free step sequencer VST plugin developed by WOK. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

ClockWOrK brings a vintage style step-sequencer into your computer as a plugin. Besides the clear GUI it offers some specialties, like the ability to mute and skip steps, note names at the knobs, a second row for velocity or MIDI CC per step, manual trigger by MIDI key, selectable number of steps up to 16 and others. The sequence can be transposed by MIDI input.

Clock Jitter

Clock Jitter is a free clock VST plugin developed by Voxengo. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

This VST plug-in was designed to be a “mastering” plug-in. It emulates an effect that is common on some old ADC (analog-to-digital converter) devices. This effect is called ‘clock jitter’ which arises when internal ADC’s wordclock is not precise. Actually, it is unknown whether this plug-in is usable for sound production or not, but in some situations this ‘clock jitter’ noise can be applied rather productively.

ClipStar

ClipStar is a free compressor VST plugin developed by de la Mancha. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

ClipStar is a soft clipper effect plug-in designed to prevent peaks in a subtler way than hard clipping, increase loudness and add pleasing saturation.

Where ClipStar differs from other clippers is that it can leave the low frequencies untouched, where distortion is more evident, and allow a greater boost in gain without noticeably degrading the signal.

You can use ClipStar for peak protection, for loudness gain or for sympathetic distortion depending on your mood and the phase of the moon.
