CrunchDude

CrunchDude is a free overdrive and saturation VST plugin developed by Heeb. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

CrunchDude is a simple guitar amplifier emulation. As the name implies, its strength lies not only in clean or over-the-top lead sounds, but especially in the crunch sounds it can produce.

Features:

The Input section. No distortion takes place here yet, only amplification and equalization plus a Low Cut control (which determines the cut-off frequency of the 6 dB/octave filter).

Two Pre-amp sections. These are switched in series, and are completely equivalent. You can switch them on and off. They have a 3-band equalizer with adjustable cut-off frequencies, and a Drive dial that determines the gain and the resulting distortion. The equalizer is “passive”, which means that when Low, Mid, and High are in maximum position, no alteration of the sound takes place (flat frequency response, 0 dB gain).

The Output Stage section. Again, you have the same type of 3-band equalizer at your disposal, an Output level dial, and an extra Low Cut.

The Cabinets section. There are two almost identical sections in parallel here, which you can balance with the Mix dial. You can switch this section off. The sound of both sections is determined by their Prox (proximity) and Fdb (feedback) dials.

CrossOver

CrossOver is a free routing VST plugin developed by rs-met. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

CrossOver is a plug-in to split an incoming signal into several (at most 4) frequency ranges. It can be used to build your own multiband effects within a modular (sub)host environment. By using only 2 bands, you can also create bass-effects. These are effects which (counterintuitively) keep the low frequency range dry and affect only the high frequency range.

The band-splitting is done by complementary pairs of Linkwitz-Riley lowpass/highpass filters, the slope of which is adjustable between 12 and 96 dB/oct. For configurations with more than 2 output bands, the signal is first split into 2 bands (low and high) and then the low or high or both bands is/are split further, thus the splitting is done in a hierarchical manner.

Crio

Crio is a virtual analog/FM/Ring modulation synthesizer to make arpeggios, bass, solos, leads, FX-style sounds. Its goal is to achieve maximum functionality with minimal controls, to be used at studio or live, with facilities to drastically modify the sounds while playing.

The LFO has special functions for rhythmic uses, such as quantization of waveforms synchronized with tempo. For example, If the user applies tone modulation from the LFO with quantization, the resulting tones are forced to a scale, like an autotuner. An interesting result occurs when quantized noise wave is selected there.

The modulation wheel can be linked to the overall function of the LFO. Therefore, the user must use that wheel to check the importance of the sound modifications that can be done. For example, in certain presets, the player can use the modulation wheel to add automatic tone variations.

What is your first thought when you hear the word “summer”?
Let’s guess: travel, sea, golden sand….

But somewhere in the background, you will probably hear – Cricket Sounds.
You will hardly find anyone that doesn’t like to hear crickets chirping in a hot summer night.
Also, it’s widely used in the movies (regardless of the genre).

This time we decided to record cricket songs and produced again a completely new Free Sound Pack in high quality WAV format, as the rest of OFS Sound Packs and free for commercial & non–commercial use (under Licensing Terms below).

Recorded in 2 years period, various places, mainly during night.
Almost all sounds are loopable.

Just relax and enjoy, 100% nature sounds are best for it.
