The FlangerHand plug-in is based on the idea of the early flanging effect realised on a setup of up to 4 tape machines (1 source, 3 recorders) in the ’60s. The playback-head output from two recorders was mixed together onto a third recorder. The “flange” effect originated when an engineer would literally put a finger on the flange, or rim of one of the tape reels so that the machine was slowed down, slipping out of sync by tiny degrees. A listener would hear a “drainpipe” sweeping effect as shifting sum-and-difference harmonics were created. When the operator removed his finger the tape sped up again, making the effect sweep back in the other direction.

We could think about the Flanger effect as a more dramatic one than Chorus itself. The key to that is the addition of the feedback function that when pushed hard will add a more pronounced swirl with a metallic edge to the modulation effect that goes well on harmonically treble rich content sounds.
Apart from the typical Flanger sound, this unit could do (if programmed to) classic Chorus and Comb filter tones alike.
Featuring a selection of five different waveforms, (Sine, Tri, Saw, Square and Random) the first two Sine and triangular suited for the typical Flanger/Chorus modulated sound and the remaining three Saw, Square and Random more rhythmically content oriented.
Furthermore a wave invert and Phase adjust function is included to provide a more expansive sound.
The Flanger Box is fully automatable and has the ability to store 64 presets. It ships with a few already pre programmed ones that will show what its all about and may be the starting point to your individual creations.
Installation procedure: Unzip the file, then copy the DLLs into your VstPlugins folder.
Flame is a matrix-based multi-effect. It does not have a set configuration, allowing you to freely route the audio between the different modules however you see fit. This flexibility allows you to create a huge range of sounds and effects.

FL4TT3RY is a gentle and flattering compressor intended for use on busses, but which also works well on individual channels. It’s inspired by (but not strictly modelled on) a specific hardware compressor, which shall remain nameless.
Features:
- Very soft knee which gradually ramps up the ratio until (eventually) reaching limiting.
- RMS based level detection, with a window size that varies depending on the attack time.
- Powerful envelope shaping with no calibration for the time constants: use your ears.
- Switchable high-pass filter for the sidechain.
- Switchable asymmetric soft clipping to prevent overs.
- Zero latency.
- Low CPU use.

Harmonic Content Morphing (HCM) Synthesis is based on a large and expandable repertoire of standard waves like saw or pulse as well as complex waves like multi waves, trumpets, organs, pads, pianos, and voice samples. These waves can be modified in real-time by, for example, transposing the wave by one or two octaves and adding it to the original wave, altering its harmonic structure, syncing, compressing or expanding the frequency domain of the spectrum, making the wave fat using only one oscillator by transforming each wave into a hyper-wave, selecting some cycles of a sample and moving through them over time (comparable to wave-table synthesis). Any modification of a wave can be modulated producing lively shimmery sounds. In total there are more than 14,000 different spectra available for combination and modulation.

Finally, after some years in the dark the all-new FilterGrizzly 2 is available as free filter VST plugin. Rich on character and warmth, the completely overworked filter module is loaded with a tube-based filter drive unit for saturation, followed by an analog modelled 4-pole lowpass and 2-pole highpass filter with a passive controlled feedback circuit. The FilterGrizzly2 gives you nearly one-to-one the filter of the upcoming MonoGrizzly 2 synthesizer, all informations about that you can find here: blog/coming-soon-monogrizzly2
Features:
- 2x oversampling and anti-aliasing algorithm.
- tube-based filter drive unit.
- classic analog ladder filter design.
- 4-pole lowpass and 2-pole highpass filter.
- passive controlled feedback circuit.
- new GUI with 2 different skins.
{See video at top of page}
All samples in the demo are taken from the SOR Minimal Techno Revolution Vol.3 sample pack.
Platforms:
- VST 2.3 (32-bit) for Windows.
- Note: FilterGrizzly 2 could maybe work via jBridge in a 64-bit DAW, but we don’t guarantee that.
Requirements:
- Win32 compatible OS with SSE2-supporting CPU (or higher).
