JBM Klumpeduns arose from a need in the author to be able to create strange engine noises. The result is this plug-in of its own kind. It is a plug-in not aiming to produce lovely music. Its sole purpose is to aid in the production of noises. Metallic, wooden noises is what it does best, but it can also be used to produce alien haunting engine noises.

Although there is almost only noises in the preset list you’re still able to squeeze some music out of it. But you have to work hard for it.

The synth uses random to its advantage. You can randomize every knob, every section, or everything in the synth. The knobs in the random section determine how much randomness will be applied, and between what values. You can also press reset to get a basic sound to model from scratch.

Currently this plug-in comes with 80 presets right now, but more will be added.

Jasuto is a modular synthesizer for iOS and Android. It is flexible in terms of synthesis techniques – you can achieve additive, subtractive, FM/PM/AM and even hard-sync synthesis all pretty easily.

Both the synth and all the parameters are in one object called a scene. A scene is made up of nodes, these are the objects that do the processing and what you directly manipulate to make, modify or otherwise bend the sound. Processing happens top-down. So the top of the scene is generally where you would have your oscillators, the middle is where you would apply your filters and effects, and the bottom is where you would output the sound.

Instead of using the traditional method of drawing wires manually to create the signal path, Jasuto does this a little differently. Basically each node has a controllable radius and range.
