PropheSea

PropheSea free software-synthesizer by NOVUZEIT

PropheSea is a free software synthesizer developed by NOVUZEIT. Available format(s): VST for Windows.

PropheSea is a subtractive vector hybrid synth. It differs from most traditional vector synthesizers in that its waveforms are generated in real-time through subtractive synthesis, rather than being culled from pre-rendered ROM wave selection tables. The real-time waveform generators support a huge variety of internal manipulation.

PropheSea also has multiple LFOs, Additive Harmonic Feedback support, and a global FX section for mutating and sweetening the sound. PropheSea’s Dynamic Vector Control allows users to morph between the four waveform generators via their own hand, or through the use of computer automated vector sweeping.

ProMeter

ProMeter free metering by Bakuage

ProMeter is a free metering VST, VST3 plugin developed by Bakuage. Compatible OS(s): Windows 64b.

ProMeter is a VST Analyzer plug-in that measures “professionality”. “Professionality” is an index that shows how close it is to professional sound (sound of commercially CD). It is calculated based on the learning result of the actual commercial CD. Originally it was an indicator that can be measured with AI Mastering an automated online mastering service. In order to approach professional sound in the mixing stage, we made it possible to measure “professionality” in real time with VST.

Pricing

Currently, the use of this plugin is limited to those who have registered the premium plan of AI Mastering. Those who have registered in the premium plan in the past can use it even if they canceled afterwards.

AI Mastering Premium Plan: $29.99/month.

Evaluation

No license registration is necessary to use this plugin. Please feel free to evaluate it.

ProjectX1

ProjectX1 free software-synthesizer by JC Productionz

ProjectX1 is a free software synthesizer developed by JC Productionz. Available format(s): VST for Windows.

ProjectX1 is a hybrid bass synth featuring urban type bass sounds utilizing subtractive, FM and phase distortion synthesis.

ProjectX1 is essentially a monophonic synth but also has a pseudo stereo mode and features 3 oscillators, osc sync, 2 filters, LFO, 2 ADSRs, mod envelope generator, 2 waveshapers, tube amp and bit crusher effects, 2 modulation matrixes with 24 possible destinations with the option of signal inversion. The phase distortion osc has 2 wave generators each comprising of 8 waveforms, and the FM osc comes with 7 standard waveforms and also has a sync mode. There’s an add-on unison oscillator which includes 3 waveforms.

Each oscillator has fine tune and transpose functions and the synth also has a master fine tune control. There are 3 main modes of operation which are FM, phase distortion and FM+phase distortion with a mix knob to get more level from either oscillator. The first filter has Low Pass or HP operation and has an analog/digital emulator, bass boost, Q tap and clear/furry options; the 2nd filter acts more like a basic eq and is in a fixed mode of operation.

You can view your sounds/waveforms via the frequency analyser or onboard scope. In pseudo stereo mode you can control left and right levels via separate sliders in the master section in the top left of the synth; also in this section there is retrigger, velocity switch, master level and glide. The included LFO is host synced and doesn’t operate in free mode. The tube amp has adjustable clipping hardness, bias, and power supply regulation, clipping and/or crossover distortion. Most of the parameters on this synth can be automated via MIDI or your host automation.

Features:

  • 3 oscillators.
  • 2 ADSRs and 1 mod.
  • Frequency analyser & scope.
  • Mono/pseudo stereo mode.
  • Host synced LFO.
  • 2 modulation matrixes with 24 destinations each.
  • Peak follower.
  • Dual waveshapers.
  • 2 filters.
  • Soft/hard clipping.
  • Tube amp simulation.
  • Bit crusher.
  • 3 oscillator modes.
  • Automation via MIDI or host.
  • 25 presets.
  • Preset display.
  • Global fine tune.

Prognum

Prognum free studio-tool by Fsynthz

Prognum is a free studio tools VST plugin developed by Fsynthz. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

Prognum is a MIDI processing VSTi, suited for two purposes:

  1. Indicating current MIDI program IN BIG NUMBERS (both the 1-128 value and grouped by 8).
  2. Browsing MIDI programs of a subsequent synth up and down using one single button, assignable to any MIDI controller (examples are: sustain pedal #64, portamento switch #65). Short hit on the button is one program up, long hit (>1 sec) – one down.

Two synths (two channels) may me managed with one instance of Prognum.

The second processing tract (shown in red numbers) features responsibility to the program-changing button on all channels – while sending the resulting MIDI program change message to the chosen (destination) channel only. So user does not have to switch the MIDI keyboard to the second MIDI channel to send a program change to the second synth (e.g. a groovebox).
