LM-9 is a free drum sampler VST plugin developed by Steinberg. Compatible OS(s): Windows.
LM9 was free with Cubase.

- Volume and Pan can be set for each channel
- Velocity sensitivity can be set globally
- All parameters can be automated
- Samples saved as individual files
- Samples CANNOT be loaded from the front panel, a script (text) file is used to create a drum kit, this can be done by hand or by using a third party editor – see below
