Tapatiki

Tapatiki is a free delay VST plugin developed by GaryG. Compatible OS(s): Windows.

An 8 tap delay effect, designed with simplicity of operation in mind.

Primarily intended for the creation of rhythmic patterns, Tapatiki offers a large range of tempo sync options (2/1 down to 1/64, dotted and triplet options) as well as non-synced delay times of up to two seconds.

Each tap offers level, pan, feedback and a simple filter. This filter can be placed either within the feedback loop or after it. It offers both low and high pass filtering in a single control. Taps can be individually disabled when not required.

A global feedback multiplier can modify the feedback amount of each channel simultaneously from x0 (effectively killing the feedback) to x2. Although Tapatiki has been tuned to prevent excessive feedback loops, a Panic button is also offered to kill runaway feedback.

The controls have been designed for ease of use e.g. sliders that can be dragged from any point, quickly set a controls value with a right-click, no drop-downs, etc.

TAL-DUB-III

TAL-DUB-III is a free delay and echo and filter VST, Audio Unit plugin developed by Togu Audio Line. Compatible OS(s): Windows 64b, macOS.

TAL-DUB-III is an easy-to-use delay device with some special features. It’s no tape delay emulation and has its own sound. It has an alias-free saturation stage, a non-linear 6dB low-pass and a 3dB high-pass filter that are included in the feedback path of the device. An input drive knob allows to adjust the saturation level. Pop-up menus show the current values of volume, delay-time and feedback knobs. A tab button allows to adjust the delay time for live sessions.

TAL-DUB-II

TAL-DUB-II is a free delay and echo and filter VST, Audio Unit plugin developed by Togu Audio Line. Compatible OS(s): Windows 64b, macOS.

TAL-DUB-II is an extended version of TAL-Dub with a completely new sound engine. A 4x over-sampled distortion stage allows you to add vintage distortion to the delayed signal (it is also possible to make clean delays). A sinus LFO has the possibility to modulate delay time and low pass filter cutoff. Adjustable LFO stereo width is also included. An analog sounding 6dB low pass filter with resonance and a 3dB high cut filter are also parts of TAL-DUB-II. Different routing options open a wide range of possibilities.

Many guitar apps use a form of Amp Modelling which in most cases is just fancy form of EQ. This is great for electric guitars, but not so good for acoustic.
